We are a building solutions provider from Trinidad and Tobago that specializes in a specially patented pre-engineered building framing technology for commercial and homes construction. We offer build and finishing services to our clients.
How long has this technology been around?
Our technology has been around for several years but we are the first to offer this in the Caribbean area.
Is this a prefabricated building approach?
Not exactly. All buildings have a basic structural frame. In the Caribbean steel is the traditional structural frame. The problem is, once steel is exposed due to building ageing, the entire structure is compromised and correcting can be very costly. Our structural framing is designed to last well in excess of 50 years.
I’ve seen this type of building before, but not convinced this is for me.
The term prefabricated in many Caribbean countries is frowned upon as many have seen abandoned homes and buildings where building specification has not been followed and material quality is suspect. Our patented approach is designed to last many years.
Can I use this for other types of buildings other than an office or home?
Definitely. Your only limitation is local government regulation and your design imagination.
Do I need an architect?
Yes. Steelvilla Caribbean role in your building project is to provide the building based on the plans you submitted. You will need an architect to coordinate your plans and finish out the interior design/details of the building. We can provide partner architects to recommend as well. We can also provide partner interior decorators to bring your dream building to reality.
How can you make the claim that it can withstand Caribbean natural disasters?
It is a proven fact that steel based framed building constructed to specifications are more resistant to natural disasters. Our building approach takes the natural strength of refined steel and spread it across the entire building structure, not just the frame.This is what makes it so unique!
What is the cost of a complete Steelvilla Caribbean home?
We can't say but definitely savings as opposed to traditional wood, masonry and block buildings have been measure as above 30%! This literally changes the very way you approach a mortgage.
